Managing Sales Reps
A rep is an individual or entity that can appear on the map alignment that can receive commission. Each rep has an identifier which is used to identify a rep across all alignments.
The rep list page allows you to create, edit, view, and manage your reps. You can search for and create reps with the controls at the top of the page.
When using the search function, we search on all of the following fields:
- identifier
- name
- email
Reps are auto-created if they are part of an alignment.
Reps can be manually added with the Add Rep button. You will need to provide the following three things:
- identifier
- name
- email
You can also add custom fields in the Settings that can be either required or optional when adding a new Sales Rep.
Rep information can be edited and updated from the Edit modal for the rep on the list page, or from the rep detail page.
Reps can only be deleted if they don't have any existing commissions associated with them, and if they are not associated with any level hierarchy. The Edit modal is the only way to access the rep deletion functionality.
