The rep permission Can open draft orders as a Shopify Admin has been removed, along with the button in the Rep Portal that opened a draft order directly in Shopify Admin. The permission no longer appears when you add or edit a rep.

Nothing replaces it. Reps who used that button now work with draft orders in the Rep Portal itself. The three order completion flows are unaffected: completing with an admin's approval, completing with a customer's approval, and completing independently.

The Ownerships page has a new Export button that produces a CSV of every customer, company, and location alongside the rep who owns it on each team. The export runs in the background, and the same button lists running and finished exports with a Download Export link when each one is ready.

Each team gets its own column, showing the owning rep followed by the reps above them. The Ownerships import ignores the extra readable columns the export adds, so you can export the file, edit it in a spreadsheet, and import it back.

Velocity now decides whether an order is fully refunded using the currency the customer was charged in, rather than your store's currency. On stores using Shopify Markets, a full refund taken in another currency could previously go unnoticed, leaving the commission in place.

Clawbacks may now appear on older orders that were affected. Commission amounts themselves are still calculated in your store's currency. Learn more

A rep who can see a company can now see that company's locations as well, without needing a separate assignment for each one. Learn more

A customer's default address now appears first in the Rep Portal, both in the address list and when picking an address on a draft order. Country and state dropdowns on address forms show the full list of options instead of a shortened one.

The Sales Manager banner no longer shows an active filter for managers who have no reps beneath them, and company detail pages in the Rep Portal no longer hang when opened directly or refreshed.

You can now search for Locations within the Company Details page, which is useful for Companies that have a large number of Locations.

The Rep Portal now has a Companies tab, where reps can view, create, and manage B2B locations, including their addresses, customers, and orders. Learn more

Velocity now writes metafields to every order in Shopify, recording the commissioned rep, the commission amount, and the Program each commission came from. These are available in Shopify's report builder. Learn more

Sales managers can now view the activity of the reps below them in the team structure. Set this from the rep's Actions menu, under Edit. Learn more

You can now enable order notifications for a rep, so they are emailed when an order they are commissioned on is placed.

Two new settings under Settings > Commission Settings. Hold For Order Payment Terms holds commission on a terms order until the order is fully paid. Clawback For Order Refunds reverses commission when an order is fully refunded. Learn more

Added the Can create customers permission, which Admins assign to a rep from the rep's Actions menu under Edit.

The in-app help content was reworked to improve onboarding for new users.

You can now add bookmark links for your reps in the Rep Portal, giving them quick access to marketing materials, training modules, and other resources. Set these under Settings > Rep Portal Settings > Bookmarks. Learn more

Added the Can apply line-level discounts and Can apply order-level discount codes permissions for reps.

Added Customer Notes to the customer onboarding form in the Rep Portal. The note is written to the customer's record in Shopify.

You can now build Commission Programs directly on a team's detail page, including adding commissionable products and collections and setting commission rates for each level. Learn more

The new Automatic Ownership setting gives a rep ownership of any customer, company, or location they onboard in the Rep Portal, so they are commissioned on that account's future orders. Enable it under Settings > Commission Settings. Learn more

You can now assign reps to customers outside their territories using Ownerships. An ownership affects both what the rep can see and how commission is allocated. Learn more

Reps can now see order status in real time in the Rep Portal, including fulfillments, refunds, returns, and exchanges.

You can now assign a negotiated rate to an individual rep, paying them a different percentage from the rest of their level. Set this from the rep's Actions menu, under Negotiated Rates. Learn more
