Overview
In Velocity, Teams are used to define the organizational structure and territories for your reps.
In this guide, we'll first learn how to manage Teams and prepare them for territory assignments.
Creating a team
To create a team, navigate to the Teams tab and select Add a Team.
Team Structure
When adding a team, define any structure you may have. Level 1 should indicate the top of your sales team hierarchy (Sales Managers, Directors, etc.), with any level afterwards representing the next position below that previous one.
You cannot add, remove, or rename Team levels after clicking on "Save"
Here, the highest ranking reps are defined at the Alpha reps level. In this example, Alpha reps manage reps at the Beta reps level.
On the team detail page you can configure commission programs, and territories.
