Attachments let you save arbitrary files or external links to a customer's profile. Use them for important documents (signed agreements, tax forms) or for references that live elsewhere (a Google Drive folder, a CRM record, a vendor portal). Attachments are visible to Velocity users only. Customers cannot see them.
Add an Attachment
Select New... in the header of the Attachments section to open the New Attachment modal. The modal has two tabs:
File: drop a file into the dashed area or select select a file to open the file picker. The Attachment name defaults to the filename and can be edited. Maximum file size is 1GB. Select Upload File to save.
Link: enter a URL and an Attachment name. Select Create Link to save.
Both tabs include an optional Description field, useful for noting what the attachment is for or where it came from.
Manage Attachments
Each saved attachment appears in the Attachments list with its name and type. Use the row's actions to view, edit, or delete an attachment. File attachments can be downloaded; link attachments open the saved URL.
