A customer in Velocity is someone who buys products or services from your business. Each customer is mapped one-to-one with a customer in your BigCommerce store. Changes made on either platform are synced between the two.
Customers created in BigCommerce are automatically imported into Velocity. Customers created in Velocity are automatically exported to BigCommerce.
Customers do not have access to Velocity. Velocity allows you to easily manage your customers. All customers have a unique customer number or "ID". This number is displayed next to customer names on the list and detail pages.
Customer List
The customer list is the starting point for finding, organizing, and creating customers. Use the controls at the top of the page to search, filter, sort, and add new customers. Select any customer to open their detail page, or use the … menu on a row for quick actions.
Search for any of the following fields:
First name
Last name
Email address
Customer number
Company name
Phone number
Custom field values (for fields with the list icon enabled)
